About Nutmeg software
Nutmeg software (Nutritional Standards for Groups) was formed 20 years ago by a multidisciplinary team of public health, nutrition, healthcare and IT professionals, with one bold aim; pioneering the use of technology to improve public health through good nutrition, especially for vulnerable groups.
Nutmeg Menu Planning (NMP) is user-friendly software that helps caterers deliver nutritionally balanced meals that meet the agreed nutrient standards for their population groups. The programme was first developed over a three year period, with caterers, dietitians and nutritionists trained in the interpretation of food table data and in the estimation of the nutrient content in recipes. Since then, the software has continued to develop with input from customers, dietitians and caterers to enhance programmes in response to customer's needs. In addition, the programs have continued to ensure compliance with updated government standards and public health best practices. As a result, Nutmeg@CRBCunninghams provides a highly effective menu planning and recipe analysis tool for caterers.
In 2021, Nutmeg software merged with education solutions provider, CRB Cunninghams to harness the unlimited opportunities of our unique offering. Nutmeg@CRBCunninghams is the result of a powerful partnership and with the importance of good nutrition moving higher up the public, political and organisational agenda, it has never been more important to set the bar high for innovation and nutritional analysis.
